NDCC - MISSION STATEMENT

TO BRING: The lost of this community to Jesus Christ and establish their membership in His Family, which is the Church of Christ, develop Christian maturity, and help equip members for proactive ministry.

TO EQUIP: The Saints for work of service, both publicy and form house to house; to glorify God by giving our best in worship and praise; and to share the gospel and love of Christ through community and congregational outreach, utilizing the resources, capabilities, talents and abilities of all of our members. 

NDCC - VISION STATEMENT

THE VISION: of the Church of Christ at North Desoto is to be a God fearing, Bible believing vibrant community of believers with a burning passion and compassion for the souls of people.

WITH THE BIBLE: as our Authority, we are a Body of Believers being changed by the Spirit of God through the agency of His Word into the likeness of Christ to:

• SHOW the character of Jesus
• LOVE, encourage, and serve others daily
• TEACH the grace and mercy of our Lord
• DEVELOP a mature life that worships and praises God

WE BELIEVE: that the Word of God has given us a Seven -Fold Vision: 

• WORSHIPPING: (Love the Lord your God...)
• FELLOWSHIPPING: (Love your neighbor as yourself)
• EVANGELIZING: (Go make disciples)
• EDIFYING: (teaching them to observe all things)
• SERVING: (to serve)
• REPRESENTING: (to live self-controlled lives)
• RECEIVING: (While we wait for the blessed hope).

WE BELIEVE that God will increase the congregation "spiritually" and "numerically" as we develope, mature,grow,and promote:

• EVANGELISTIC EFFORTS that will seek and save the lost while striving to keep the saved, saved.
• EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS that become magnets for people.
• WORSHIP that sparks inspiration in worshipers as they glorify God.
• SERVANT DRIVEN MEMBERS who meet the needs of others.
• FELLOWSHIP THAT ENCOURAGES others and builds lasting relationships.
• TEACH faithful men and women, boys and girls, that they might be able to teach others men and women, boys and girls.

28　Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding.

29　He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30　Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31　But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
